Newly Launched 14 Day Recession Busting Summer Course
We in Coláiste Cholumba are well aware that during these difficult economic times, it may not always be feasible to attend Irish Summer courses in the Gaeltacht as often as one may like. In addition some may find that 3 weeks away is just a little bit too long, especially for those who are younger and may be going away for the first time.
With this in mind we piloted a new, shorter Gaeltacht course in 2011. Such was the demand, that this special course was booked out in only a few weeks. We also requested feedback from many of those that attended this pilot course and based on the information received we have redesigned the course in some areas.
So now you can spend 14 days in one of the best Irish Summer colleges in the Connemara Gaeltacht, enjoying the same spraoi, spóirt, craic and ceol and all for the unbelieveable price of €570. This price includes full tuition, full accommodation and board, all the spórts activities and our famous céili’s and Disco’s!!!

3 Week Training Course to Become a Cúntoir/Ard-Chinnire at a Massive Discount!!

Being a Cúntóir not only allows you to enjoy the craic, spraoi & spóirt that is expected from an Irish summer course but also gives you the opportunity of further improving your Irish for almost half the price!! What Does the Training Course Involve??
The course will have a similar structure to that of the summer course with regards its activities but will have training for these activities as its central theme. Therefore sports gear, (track suit, shorts, swim wear, runners etc) will be essential as will rain gear. Check out our website for full details regarding our activities.
