Tá muid ag reáchtáil cúrsaí Gaeilge le ós cionn 30 bliain agus i rith na h-ama seo tá cúrsa cuimsitheach curtha le chéile againn, mar aon le leabhrán speisialta do dhaltaí na h-ard-teiste agus do dhaltaí an teastas sóisearach.

Baineann muid úsáid as na modhanna múinte is nua aimsirí agus cuireann muid an-bhéim ar an nGaeilge labhartha ar bhealach spéisiúil taitneamhach chun suim a chothú in san teanga.

Located in An Cheathrú Rua in the heart of the Conamara Gaeltacht, Coláiste Cholumba provides the ideal base for students to further their appreciation and knowledge of not only the Irish language but also of our rich historical culture.

Coláiste Samhraidh Cholumba has been running Irish courses in the Gaeltacht for almost thirty years. Our experience and expertise have enabled us to provide an excellent service to all our students, ensuring that they return home with a greatly enhanced appreciation and grasp of the language and our culture.

We use the communicative approach and avail of all modern teaching aids as well as drama and other techniques to ensure that each student has the greatestopportunity to improve his or her Irish.

A huge thanks to all students and staff that made our 2010 courses such a huge success. With so many returning each year, it really is a strong affirmation of our continued success and of the fact that we are one of the most popular Irish Summer colleges.
